There are two ways you can employ to download videos from Facebook and many other sites for that matter that would save the video on your device and not on your profile liked section or saved section. I would recommend using Internet Download Manager or IDM for downloading videos.

Method 1: IDM and Other Download Managers
Internet Download Manager is one of the most feasible ways to download videos from Facebook. The basic concept behind Internet Download Manager is that you have to copy and paste the link of the video and the IDM will download the video and save it on your personal device at your desired location.
It’s that simple. Using the Internet Download Manager, you can directly download almost all the videos on social sites, Youtube, or any streaming site unless the URL is coded secured which is rare in the scenarios. As you can see in the image below you get direct download links that can be used to download the videos for offline watching.
This is the easiest and most reliable way to download Youtube videos in the best quality. You can use the same method to download videos from other sites as well. I personally prefer and use IDM but many other download managers like Download accelerator plus (DAP), Free download manager, etc support this option.
Note: For direct downloads, you need to install the related extensions in your browser. For IDM the IDM chrome and Mozilla extension are auto-installed. I haven’t tested all download managers but you might have to install the related extension for direct download features.
Method 2: Facebook Video Download Sites:
This is another great way that helps you get videos. You can use any of the below sites to download and access facebook videos offline.
Step 1: Just copy the video URL by right-clicking on the video.
Step 2: Paste the link as shown below.
Step 3: Click the download button and your download will begin. Its that simple.
